Plans

Think about it, God is too perfect to make perfect situations. Everything beautiful begins from brokenness. We have to be broken down in order to be built back us again. I'll be the first to tell you, it's worth it. You're guided with your every step. Even that step you take and fall so hard it seems as if you can't get back up. It's only the blind spot in your rear view mirror. But be doesn't want us focusing on the past. What's done is done and we can no longer control that has happened. We have to believe that with our whole heart; because he also believes that everything happens for a reason. He IS that reason. The things that happen to us can damage us, for the better. We need shoes to protect us throughout our journey, the journey of the unknown. We are completely lost without him like a compass with no polar attraction. We try to be secure in our stutters, but our stutters over take us consuming all that we are. We need to be willing to risk. We have nothing left; we have already take everything away from our selves. Use us. Use the used. Make us into something. An inspiration.

Expectations

Expectations leave you broken, hurt, confused.
Expectations leave you surprised, joyful, complete; once they are met.
They are what you make them, but be careful.
Don't set the standards too high, you may end up disappointed.
But, be risky. Set the standards as high as you can, you may end up hopeful. Hopeful that there are people who can meet what you require.

The Deciever

They hunt you when you're down.
They aim their fire when you stop believing.
The bullet is coming your way just as you get yourself back up.
Now you're face to face...an uncomfortably close distance away from the one thing that has the power to keep you plastered back down to the floor, only if you let it.
What do you do?
Do you try to dodge the fear the push your way?
Do you get back down and give them what they wanted you for?
No. You're stronger than you think.
Surprise yourself.

Book Report 9/30 (250 words)

Book: The Lovely Bones
I enjoyed this book and I am interested in writing this type of fiction. The author was very descriptive and literally put a movie in my head. She used a tense where she was in the in-between world. She was looking back on her life and regretting all of the things she didn't do while she had the time to do it. I am interested in this type of writing because it is semi realistic and gets you thinking as a reader. I got a lot out of this book. She was stuck in the past and it was as if as if she couldn't let go of her life on earth. The message behind the story is why I relate to this book so well. "You have to let go" is basically what it is saying. I love writing about things that have underlying messages and teach lessons. This book shows the different ways in which people grieve and how Susie (the main character) grips with her life on earth and the pain she is feeling for her family. She cannot seem to let go of what she once had but in the end she realizes she has to because it was creating an even bigger burden on those who she was around before she died.
